RJP Maine partners with several organizations that bring restorative practices to
other parts of the state.

Restorative Justice Institute of Maine

The Restorative Justice Institute of Maine was founded in 2011 to engage individuals and organizations in expanding restorative practices from existing efforts currently underway and foster their growth throughout communities across the state. Their mission is to promote a widespread cultural and systemic shift to how Mainers approach wrongdoing by advancing the use of restorative justice in communities, schools and correctional settings across the state.

Maine Youth Court

Youth Court is a program that allows young people who have violated the law to be held accountable by their peers. Trained youth community volunteers act as advocates and judges using the restorative justice framework to create an agreement for all.

Restorative Practices Collaborative of MAine

The Restorative Practices Collaborative of Maine is the leading statewide resource for training, consultation and research on the restorative approach to building community in schools & organizations.

Portland Center for Restorative Justice

The mission of the Portland Center for Restorative Justice is to build and sustain a culture of peace and belonging in the greater Portland community utilizing Restorative Justice principles and practices.  As a group of trained volunteers, they provide Peacemaking Circles and "Victim-Offender Dialogues" where people in conflict can begin to heal and individuals within a community can come together to listen to one another.
